Meet Jerome Ziersch of Ziersch Custom Rifles

Based in Auburn South Australia, Ziersch Custom Rifles is managed and operated by tradesman Jerome Ziersch, self taught gunsmith, qualified Fitter and Turner and avid shooter.

Jerome takes pride in all work, is a man striving for perfection and is an expert in riflesmithing. His passion for the industry is evident as his workmanship is improving the results and lifting the standard across all FClass and Club competitions in Australia.

Raising the bar, gun by gun, his reputation precedes him for high quality, honest and meticulous work.

I am available by appointment at my workshop in Auburn and work full time on rifles: building, re-barreling and accurising. My hobby remains to be F Class Competition shooting through out SA and I’m proud to have been selected on the SA F Class Team over the last few years to shoot at National level. Combining professional gun-smithing and competition shooting keeps me up to date on the industry needs in touch with shooters thoughts.

Please phone me before arriving so I can make time to chat about your build. Do your research and have a fair idea of what you are after before hand as my time is precious, and so is yours.

My rifle smithing services include:

  • full custom builds
  • re-barreling
  • fine-tuning actions and triggers
  • stock making to custom preferences
  • bead blasting
  • scope fitting

I am an honest bloke, approachable and fair. It is in my interest to ensure quality control on all my workmanship. Your rifle doesn’t leave my hands unless I’m 100% happy with it. I can offer up-to-date advice and honest opinions based on experience and extensive ongoing research. Consultation is a key factor in meeting customers’ needs when completing a job.

Please do your homework before  engaging services as my time is precious and workload high.

Please note that ZCR offers specialised rifle-smithing. Unfortunately Jerome doesn’t work on handguns or shotguns.
